Designed a multi-functional poster for a “Call for Entries”. This poster helped entice the viewers to step closer for more detailed information which included the who, what, where and when of the event was going to be taking place.

 

​For this poster I used a photograph from Karla Davila of La Antigua, Guatemala C.A., as it was related to the subject of the call for entry that I had researched and tried to keep it true to the subject matter. She had captured the essence of this “call for entries” poster under my direction and supervision. 

 

This International Photography Festival was initially founded and always held in Guatemala City, Guatemala, C.A. The poster informational text was done in a radial grid layout format that gave the illusion of water ripple effects in the photography.

 

The main purpose of this call for entry was to engage people across the globe to participate and submit their own photography as this event is for an International Photography Festival that was taking place in Guatemala City, Guatemala C.A.
